Scholarship - Due October 1, 2024

       The Delta Iota Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated is pleased to announce the 2023 Educational Enrichment Scholarship. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. aims to enhance the quality of life for women through education and helping them reach their full potential. Our founders were seven young educators who were committed to sisterhood, scholarship, and service through all of their endeavors. Today, we continue to remember their vision of “Greater Service, Greater Progress” by awarding educational enrichment scholarships to two (2) female graduating seniors from under-represented ethnic backgrounds with the purpose of assisting them pursue their future educational goals.

The Scholarship Committee will evaluate the applicants based on the following criteria: academic achievement, community service, personal statement, and two personal letters of reference.

This application and both letters of recommendation must be submitted by June 30, 2023.
